Red Right Knee
Strange ring shaped bruise above my right knee?
I just noticed that I have a ring shaped bruise above my right knee. It’s recent from the looks of it but I can’t remember injuring it. I tried looking up what a ring shaped bruise ment but got no where. Is it a serious sign of something? Blood clot? It hurts when I touch the right side of it and doesn’t feel overly “lumpy”. It’s not feeling “hot”. But it’s obviously red inside the circle. Here’s a picture:

Hello. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry. Many times fair skinned people like you may bump into something without realizing it and *poof* a bruise appears along with the soreness that comes with a bruise. Keep an eye on it and don’t worry unless more unexplained bruises begin appearing or if it doesn’t heal or gets worse. If that occurs, get to the doctor for blood work. To ease your mind from worrying, call your doctor on Monday and ask them about it.
